BUILD A SOLID FOUNDATION
Learn Stroke Mechanics, Increased Court Awareness & Basic Footwork.
The USTA has standardized an approach that helps developing young players practice and learn with a softer orange ball that is 50% slower than a normal ball and doesn't bounce as high. Paired with a shorter racket and smaller court this allows young players 7 -10 years of age to better develop tennis athletic, technicaland competitive skills. It is recommended that players at this stage should use a racket with a length of 23" - 25" depending upon size and strength.
